Semenovo nesting dolls “Russian Girl”, “Good Family Man”, “Russian Boy” are also very famous. Up the 1929 the craftsmen turned and painted Russian matryoshka dolls at home. Then a co-operative for manufacturing toys was formed. It united all the craftsmen from Semenovo and other near parts. First it included about 20 people. Now the Semenovo center for manufacturing souvenirs is the largest center of nesting dolls industry in Russia.
