Pilgrim coming to the Sergiev Posad monastery from all the corners of Russia bought the funny wooden toys with pleasure for their children. Even the tsar’a children had wooden toys: troitsky “amusing wagons” with horses, “bratinki” and “red” spoons. They were bought in Sergiev Posad where the Russian tsars used to come with their families for prayer.
